Its getting harder to be around you.

A feeling that I can’t comprehend 

My deepest thoughts are where you are 

And not where I begin.

Are you more than just a friend? 

I wouldn’t want to rush this,

But this is such an emotional bliss.

Your scent is so electrified;

when you’re around I get tongue tied.

I must be delusional when it comes to you.

Thinking about the days we spend together.

Just getting to be comfortable and free.  

I think of you when I am alone.

I think of just you and me.

The way you make my heart skip,

Turns me into such a junkie,

waiting on my next fix.

Awake through the night

Thinking of the right things to say,

Oh how you take my breath away

I live in a daydream

the sensation mesmerizes and amazes.

My heart is opening up now,

Unlike it used to do,

I see the pain that’s in your heart

And sometimes I feel it to.

I lose the power to speak

So I walk around in silence

Hoping you’d start to notice me.
